I am currently working on a stainless steel performance downpipe for the 91-93 Steath TT/Vr-4. The pipe will have 2-1/2" collectors going into a 3" main pipe. This downpipe will eliminate the front precat. It will a feature a stainless steel flex joint, and it will retain the main catalytic converter, as well as retaining the 02 sensor bungs. The stainless steel that will be used is T-304 which can be polished to a high lustre if need be. Finally the best part about is all of the bends will be mandrel bent. At this point I want to know if there would be any interest in this product. At this point, the price looks like it will be roughly $300.00 cdn. Please let me know your feedback on this project.

Thank you very much.

That would also fit later models wouldn't it?? Or is it a diffrent fit fot the later models?

As far as fitting on the newer models, I don't believe that it will fit. When I look up the downpipe from different manufacturers, they list different pipes. I can't see from pictures what the difference is but apparently there is one. If someone knows what the difference is then maybe i might be able to try to make one for the later models. But until then, sorry

The difference is only with the back DP! The 2 studs are not at the same place, they’re rotated to a different location, something like 1” over!

I’ll try to find a picture!

The stock DP on top, is one off a 2nd gen, as you can see the cat is different on them!

I'd be interested in one, can they make a test pipe to go with it?

I will be able to get a test pipe. What size would you be looking for 3" straight through or 3" down to 2-1/2"?

I guess it would have to be 3 to 2 1/2, unless they can make a catback for a good price to go with the DP.

Shane,

Is the test pipe you have on now 2.5" all the way through? this would be a direct replacement for the stock cat right? if you go with this DP and get a new testpipe, I'll take your old one off your hands. my DP tapers down right after the 3" flex section, to fit the stock cat.

Lemme know what you want for it slowpoke:p

If I get the DP, you can have my old test pipe for a 12 of MDG :D Its a straight pipe that is the exact size of the main cat. After the exhaust is done, I'll be done modding........................................... .... for a few months :)
