best mods for...

hey guys, i dunno bout u guys, but off the line my kar isnt the fastest, after 2nd tho, i'll murder ne one
i was wonderin what mods would make my kar faster off the line??
btw, i got a 1992 stealth R/T fully loaded

hmmm I could say drag springs / stiffer shocks to help shock the car from rocking off the line ... what else fuck I am to tired to think lol see what other guys say to this

Faster off the line... fidanza flywheel, limited slip differential (alot less wheel hop, and makes it safer to do 3000rpm clutch dumps), drag radials

Faster all the time... adjustable cam gears, headers, cam regrind

That guide is a good starting point. But don't believe any of the #'s for HP gains. They're all WAY off. According to that guide, an underdrive pulley is a better mod than cam gears.... thats pretty laughable.

The bottom line is that the DOHC NA's are all pigs for low end. Opening up your exhaust with downpipe, testpipe, and custom catback will help abit, but unless you mod the hell out of your car, it will always have a slow takeoff.

Because my car sounded not bad before.. when I removed the resonator it sounded kinda Honda-ish for low end. But I liked how it free'd up room in my engine bay to access certain things so I left it like that.
