Did I spell that right?

Anyways, there is a 'bruised' 94 3000GT for sale for $2500 in the trader. I've been talking to the guy. Looks like the engine cradle needs to be replaced plus a few bits (hood, bumper, fender, windshield). Get this- It comes with a good engine cradle already! Guy bought it but doesn't have the $$$ to continue the repairs.

The guy says the engine and tranny is OK, and the car is driveable it's just the above listed parts that are damaged. If anyone is in Etoboke and as curious as I am I'd appreciate if you could check it out. I'd like to actually hear from someone that the engine does run and the tranny shifts OK, etc.

I'm nowhere near 100% sure I'm buying this thing so I won't be too disappointed if someone else snaps it up, so no worries eiher.

Thanks,
Ted

Hehe, thanks! :D

In any case, I just screwed myself out of a good deal- I think I've convinced the guy to keep the car. :D He was getting raped on part prices so I told him about the forsale section on 3si (doh!). I'm waaaaay to nice! He was looking at $8000 in parts for what you can get of 3si for about $3000-$3500 max. Even in the right color (green) if your patient enough so no repainting.

Sigh....By the looks of it only the very corner of the front of the cradle is damaged. It comes apart so you break the welds after the strut tower and bang, weld the new bit on and then replace the whole front section (He was giving a complete front cradle/clip with the car that he bought for $1500) and you're done.
