well probably i will leave on early January,,
i just put new engine(about 60,000km) and rebuilt whole tranny this summer,,,so i think it should make it fine(that's what people tell me),,just what i wanna know is that what should i check up before i leave and it'll be cold all the way, so how to care the car on the way,,,how long should i drive and stop for how long??
and is it very complicated to transfer my car from BC car to Pennsylvania car??? and does my record in BC go on insurance there too?? i just had little accident that i was fault for,,,:S

It shouldn't take 45 hours to get there though. Just go through the states using the interstate highways during the whole trip though, much faster than the crappy trans-canada highway.
Driving the car for a long period of time won't hurt it. Just remember that its a machine, not a person. If you're driving yourself it all depends on what your comfortable with for driving. Most people can handle 12 hours of driving on their own before they start feeling really burned out. If you drive lets say 7am-8pm for three days in a row just stopping for quick meals you'll get there on the third night.
My parents place in south Florida is 1600 miles from me and it usually takes me about 23 hours of straight driving to get there. With about 6 stops in total the whole way down.
Why do you need to transfer the car there? Are you permanently moving there? When I lived in the states for a year I kept my Ontario plates... also kept my Ontario plates when I lived in Quebec for 3 years.
Yes, they'll check your insurance record.

hey steve,,thanks for the help,,
now i think i can totally do it,,,:D
but i checked with BCAA(insurance company in BC?? not sure) anyways, yes i am moving there for at least 4 years,,,going to Penn State,,:D..and after i get there, in 30days, i have to resister my car as a Pennsylvania car,,and also lady told me that they will look at the records but if there's no discount, it will just be a basic plan,,so all the faults i made here dont count,,,im not sure if she was sure about that,,but sounded pretty cool...
and i found a "problem" with car again! today,,,i just fixed my wheel bearing and i picked it up,,,so after everything fixed in my car, i tried to drive hard,,,i havent done that for a long time,,,and i feel this weird thing,,,it doesnt respond fast as before AT all!!
so i talked to the guy who rebuilt my tranny,,and said that Tranny is shifting totally fine but he thinks it's the motor with some computer code problems,,it just doesnt produce enough power,,and when i was putting new engine this summer they had some trouble with the codes,,,,so they said they have to scan it first,,is it a big deal??? can i still go on 3-4days road trip with it??
did anybody have this one before????

If you currently live with family, technically, you probably could keep your BC plates and insurance if you wanted to. Away at school is considered temporary residence while a parents place can be considered your permanent residence. It's really a grey area.
I lived in Quebec while I was in university and I didn't bother changing mine because I was pretty sure I would move probably back to Ontario afterwards. My insurance broker told me not to worry about it at the time.
