You might wanna check out the Melton downpipe too. It's cheaper than the rest, but its better than the 3sx. I'll probably get one of these, if I don't end up getting a custom X-pipe (true dual exhaust) made.

Honestly, do you really care if it is stainless?
Steve and I were talking the other day, and both essentially agreed that it is not like we've got the car up on a hoist for show very often.

Sure, stainless is a bit stronger than regular steel, but as long as the DP has a flex section or two, you're good.

As for the MElton, search on 3si for Bob Melton and his downpipes.

A few of the top 3S cars use the Melton, it may actually have the best flow out of all 3S downpipes.

ATR is probably on of the best quality exhaust companies around.
Check out thier website. Specialize in turbo applications. everything stainless. It even comes with a removable reducer so it can bolt up to stock catalytic, or straight to a 3" high flow. Plus they sell for $400 new.

http://www.atrperformance.com/

stainless doesnt mean its shiny. Its about the thermal properties and corrosion resistance. only the tips are polished, but the whole system is stailess.
