Stealth TT vs. Talon N/T

well it's been awhile since I've seen any war stories so I figured I'd post a little race I had with my buddy

well he's always going on about how fast his car is and it's an N/T, and when I got my Stealth well he kept telling me that it wasn't that fast and he could keep up to me so we lined them up at a set of lights and let me tell you did I ever blow him away....lol
I don't even think he budged yet and I already had 4 car lenghts on him and after I was about a block ahead of him I just shut it down, then he said it wasn't fair cuz I have AWD so we were going about 100km/h and I told him that I was going to beat him and not even downshift and I was in 5th, so he screams out go and all I hear is him downshift well that didn't do anything cuz I just floored it in 5th and he couldn't even catch me......:p

Some people have no idea what fast is..... Before you start talking shit, make sure there is no chance of a race.

One of our fellow members thought his Stealth TT was fast. Sorry to tell you all the horrible news, but a stealth is not that fast.

So, this guy gets in his stealth and says lets go and play on the highway. I was not in my stealth at the time. I was riding my Hayabusa. I think you can all figure out what happened. The busa runs high 9's in the 1/4 and tops out at over 330km/h.

Moral of the story, RESEARCH!!

Racing a DSM N/A with a TT Stealth is like picking a fight with a 5 year old. They're solid 17 sec cars when tuned properly. :)

A Talon Tsi awd with a boost controller will kill a stock TT stealth... my old one did.

I know better then to pick on the AWD TSI's cuz I already know those are pretty damn fast cars but I just wanted to teach my buddy a lesson and show him that he dosn't know that much about cars


there's actually a 97 or 98 TSI AWD in town that was trying to f*ck around with me one day but I didn't go for it cuz I noticed it was modded when I heard the BOV and seen the huge exhaust on it, this summer tho if I run into him I'll show him what's up.....:thumbup:

Calm down dude! I know you're new here, so I'll let you know how this board works. Everybody jokes around on here and makes a little fun of each other.. thats what we do here. No one gets offended.

BTW, it was legitimate to make fun of this "kill. Would be like someone saying they beat a Cavalier with their Stealth TT. Although a newer Cavalier may even be faster than a NT Talon :D

He wasnt coming down on the guy with the stealth (Dage), he was making fun of the fool running his mouth saying "i can take you" with a crappy little 2L 4 cylinder.
Its just another example of someone talking like he knows what fast is, and then meeting up with one of the big boys and looking like a goof.
You dont have to stick up for Dage. Its all positive man.

Edit: and yes, having a 'Busa DOES make you cooler ;)

A stealth is not slow what so ever :) I have no problems taking on anything that challenges me around town... Ran against a heavily modded (2002-2003) mustang the other day and we pretty much tied it off.. and I'm stock still!

well just like the first post says I just put this on here cuz there hasn't been any war stories posted, I wasn't really looking to get any respect for killing a N/T DSM....lol

I just wanted to show my buddy that he has a pretty slow car compared to other things out there, he has no sense of speed, he was trying to tell me his car runs 14's then I showed him what fast is with the ol' Stealth, he's just one of many that I'm going to shut up this summer...:thumbup:

but he couldn't really come up with anything when I beat him except that my car was way faster then his, the only reason why he thought his car could keep up with mine was because one day my car was running like sh*t at higher RPM's so I had no top end and he kept up with me but then I figured out that one of my turbo's wasn't attached to the system, the pipe came loose some how so put it back on properly and killed him really really badly

Shekky, don't take things too personal. First lesson I learnt when I started surfing car groups is "When you read a post, read it with as neutral a mind as possible. Otherwise, your own emotions will tend to make you think it means more then it does".

Also, where do you live in Oshawa. I grew up there, I went to G.L. Roberts (a number of years back), and lived in the South End...lol...that will only mean something to those that know Oshawa.

Anyway, good kill to both guys. The Busa is about a good a match for a stealth, as a n/a DSM is...so I see the relavance. I just like seeing people eat their words, so I liked both kills.
