View Full Version : Magnecore 8.5mm Wires
I'm gonna do a little tune up on the car when I take it out. I was gonna pick up a set of accel wires at Canadian Tire, for $108. I have a chance to get Magnecore 8.5's for $142 plus taxes. Is That a good price for the magnecors?
What are you guys using?
What do the OEM ones usually run at a Dodge Dealer? or now maybe a Mitsu Dealer?
Thx
Mike
I don't know about the magnecors but I was in need of a plug & wire change and got Accel wires.
Stopped the hesitation completley and I would reccomend them.
I think it will be Accel's for me too, lol since I do not have an upgraded ignition system I doubt it will matter what kind I get, but I think I'm goin with the Accel's cause of the colour, lol what a reason to make a decision:D :D

damn, i was going to get Magnecore and i can't find where i can buy it in Canada...
By the way, i bought a set of NGK Iridium, do i have to switch to Magnecore or i can just use the Accel from Can tire?
I am a question guy =P
on a stock ign system any wires should be OK!!
142. cdn for Magnecore's is good.
I went with stock. It wwas cheaper when Tallahasse mitsu had them on sale last year, and I'm a believer that for 99% of us, the stock wires are pretty good. They lasted me a long time, and are of sufficient density to carry the required voltage.
In the past I have used Accel wires and found them to fall apart within a couple years. I could never tell an improvement by adding beefier wires/super coils etc.....unless the old wires were leaking and cross firing.
