NGK Coppers. Cheaper price, better conductor, just don't last as long as platinums.

Platinums here, but i voted irridiums, ROFL. Good plugs, last long. That's an importan part in our cars, long lasting, 'cause it's a PITA to remove those rear plugs.

Under the hood it show what default plugs you are to use. and that whats in mind and it shows to change it every 160.000 km
or something like that. ...

coppers, 1 range colder than stock....cheap, and changing plugs more often isn't all that bad.

But does you are sending more money and what about the engine.. performance

opps sorry

What I was trying to say was .. Would you not be spending more money if you are replacing your spark plugs more often (copper)?
Over Platinums.

not if you change them yourself!!!

Maybe so .. Bigboi but if copper was better then why would they not have put then in at the factory ?
Just asking .

Since metal and aluminum is more durable than plastic, why are our boost solenoids and BOV's made of plastic?? Since cable shifters suck ass, why are our shifters cable??? Since 9b's are underpowered turbo's that were used 10 years prior to the 3000gt, why did the fuckheads at mitsu put them in the second gens??

There are lots of why's, hehehe.

Oh, and i don't think copper is ALOT better. Plus, copper is not recomended for usage on cars, that's why they probably didn't put them. It's for motorcycle's mostly. But alot of people have ran copper plugs in their cars, and they love the results. Car manufacturers still beleive copper is not good for the car.

Discovered in 1735, the name platinum was taken from the Spanish, platina, meaning little silver. Platinum is recovered from deposits in its elemental form. In these deposits, the platinum is most often mixed with other metals such as gold, copper, nickel, iridium, osmium, palladium, ruthenium, and rhodium. Shown above is an unusually large nugget (1.1 kilogram) of platinum found in the Ural Mountains, USSR. Platinum also occurs in minerals sperrylite (as platinum arsenate) and cooperite (as platinum (II) sulfide).

Platinum is described as a silvery-white, dense metal that is quite malleable and ductile when pure. Platinum is resistant to oxidation and tarnish and does not react with most acids. It dissolves readily in aqua regia. Platinum is one of the heaviest elements, with a density of 21.45 g/cc, almost twice that of lead.

Platinum is an important metal. It is used:

in the manufacture of laboratory instruments, medical and dental instruments,
as electrical contacts,
as electrode material in electrochemistry,
in catalytic converters in auto exhaust systems,
in hyperdermic needles. An alloy of platinum containing up to 30% iridium is usually used for this application. Iridium content increases hardness and resistance to chemical attack.
as a catalyst when used in the powder form (platinum black).
in jewellry.

Coppers don't last as long, pretty much that is why, the electrode is not ad tough and it breaks down quicker!!!

What about performance?Do you think that Copper is better, equal ?

In the short term, coppers are as good or better IMO. I ran both, and found that although the performance declined much sooner with coppers, the initial feeling was stronger.
I run plat. now, but I have to admit, it doesnt feel right for me to not change them every year, so I may as well be using coppers. I just dont trust things that are "supposed" to last that long. Plus, I like to monitor changes in gap over time/use.
