After selling my last one to Monopoly, I've get PM's from a few of you asking for the same deal. I decided I'll be nice and do just that. I have them coming in during the next week.

The price is $130 CDN each + shipping. These pipes are actually lighter than stock, so shipping would be around $10 to just about anywhere. If you pick it up from me in person at my place in Toronto, or at a gathering.. then of course shipping is free.

These are the same ones as sold on my website for $109USD (about $140-$145CDN). http://www.speedfreakracing.net

Feel free to ask Monopoly about the look and fitment of these, since he just recently bought and installed one.

The first five to signup gets it for this price:

Steve,
Did you look into the lip/beading on the ends as we had discussed at the meet?

I've been trying to get red, but all my supplier has for silicone couplings is the blue ones, and only in this size. It still looks good on a red car though.

Yep. It's not necessary if you're running stock boost.. but I'm looking into getting a series of 5 or 6 nibs mig welded on each end. That would be the best way to make them impossible to blow off without risking integrity of the pipe.

lol i installed it right when i got home from the meet last Sunday! ill take a pic of it installed if u guys wanna see...looks freakin amazing!

it fits great but i scratched it up a bit in the process of installing it so heres some tips for those who are interested in getting one.

-remove old Y-pipe
-remove battery
-***most important!!!*** remove that ANNOYING metal line that runs between the battery and the Y-pipe(that thing was what scratched the Y-pipe a bit and makes installation a BITCH w/o removing):p

im going to try it out with no flares or welded beads on the ends 1st...i really cranked those hose clamps pretty tight so it shouldnt be a problem.

I'm glad you like it.

Can you do me a favour and take a pic of it in your engine bay? I really would like to see how it looks!

Did you ever find out about the beading, etc. on the edge?
I plan on running higher than 15PSI boost, so...

Yeah, I know a few places to go to get it done. I could probably get them all done and charge $5 extra or something.

luckly i gotta friend who can weld some beads on..

i was running about 8 PSI to redline and mine blew off around top of 2nd gear!

i think some of those clamps with the side screw(looks like the one that connects to the top of your rad hose) would do a lot better job.

im gunna make a trip to the junk yard and see if i can steal a few of those and try them out!:D

i also think the reason why it slid off is b/c its polished...i bet if i sanded the ends a bit it wouldnt be so slippery and might not even come off again with those other clamps :p

Good news!! I now can offer these y-pipes flared at NO additional cost! I have got all of my current stock flared, so everyone signed up in this group buy will now get flared ones.... so no more worries about them blowing off under boost. :)

Monopoly.. PM me if you want info on getting yours flared.

dammit!

i just beaded on a lot of JB weld and its on there REALLY good...it would require a lot of sanding to get that stuff off, soooo im gunna leave it on and cross my fingers and hope works it ok. :D
