clutch!

my clutch slips out of 2nd and reverse when starting cold!!!
the cover, bearings and disk were replaced about a year ago.
any ideas why???

nope. first works perfectly fine. Sorry!!! i meant to say 4th gear and reverse!!! when cruising at 80Km's or so when the cars still cold it slips out! i cant take it to get it looked at yet b/c its stored away in my garage for the winter.


i have a
91 dodge stealth TT/AWD which is pretty much all stock except K$N air FIPK.

is it the stock clutch>?

either way did this just start or was it there since it was replaced?
maybe they didn't do a very good job...

i bought the stealth about 5 months ago...i noticed it about 4 months ago and it only happens now and then...if you drive it hard it won't slip out...everything was done by the dealership i have all the receipts to porve it. i'll get it checked out when i goto get my recall done on the transfer case which is leaking as well :mad:

yeah I'd check out if it was installed properly...Since you have all the receipts you have no worries.

excellent! never thought of that! hopefully it just needs adjusting or something..u drive your stealth in the winter???
