Planning on 99 Conversion

Will my 95 headlight fit with the 99 bumper and signal?
The bumper and the signal aren't too expensive but the headlights DO kill my wallet...
wonder if it will fit so i can save like 2 grand ... i don't care if it is not "bubble" since it doesn't worth 2 grand for just the "bubble" looking :eek: .....
Well, i know it looks much better with the "bubble" but that's too much for me now :(

I'm pretty sure though since you have the 2nd gen projector buckets, that you can just swap the lights.

Just to clear things up, it is a 95 3000GT Vr4
99 headlights are way too money for me to spend right now,
that's why i want to ask if anybody knows if it fits or not...
using the whole night in 3SI forum and i conclude that it needs a little mod to make it fit...

Oy yeah I gotta say I like the 94-96 & 97-98 3KGT styles better than the '99, I guess it is the coloured lights that get me!!!!!!!!!!

i just got my 99 conversion stuff... it cost me 2200 canadian for:

99 front bumper
99 front headlights
99 front turnsignals
99 back bumper and panels above the lights
99 lights and centerpanel.

I STILL NEED A HOOD THOUGH IF ANYONE SEES ONE FOR SALE :)

I am 100% positive that you need new light to do a 99 coversion on you 3000gt. 94 + stealths can use there stock lights because of the edges on them being square.

I'd like to get a 99 front end conversion done too. I love that bigmouth look, and it gives plenty of room for a big FMIC when the time comes. Does anyone know a good connection to get the parts? vr4boost, that's one hell of a good price for everything. How'd you get it so cheap? Crazykid, was it hard for you to do the conversion? I heard it's not too bad, just about a million bolts, though it was probably harder for you since you converted from a 1g.

I was thinking of doing a front end conversion also, but the cost was just to much.. did the next best thing.. I took took a while but i tracked down some black headlight units .. it will give a nice contrast between the red color of my car...but you guys are right the big mouth look is sweet...
