Hey all,
This is one of my first posts so I'm gonna write about this and that.
How long has this site been around? I never really noticed it before when I used to browse 3SI sites alot (not much now).
That horror story about Crosstown just confirms my belief that most dealerships are crooked. No disrepect to anyone, but I feel that many, many mechanics are crooked. So what are the good and honest repair shops in Edmonton that know how to deal with 3S cars. I'm mainly referring to repair and maintenance, but input on mod shops is welcome too. Where do you guys all go for repairs if you can't do it yourself?
I posted a question in the Tech forum about changing tranny fluid in an MT non-turbo Stealth. Check it out if you can. Part of my post is, what do you do if your fill plug is seized, or what if the bolt head breaks off?
As far as I can tell so far, I have the only 1995 Dodge Stealth R/T (non-turbo), Pearl White in Edmonton. Anyone with the identical year, model, trim, and colour? My guess is that it's pretty rare in Canada altogether.
I was in JB southside the other day, and saw a black 1st Gen Stealth TT (I think) with aftermarket dual exhaust. Anyone here?
I've heard that there's a Stealth(s) with "spinner" rims in Edm. Anyone here, or seen it? Probably pretty cool.
I heard that someone bought a 2nd Gen TT for really cheap (incredible). Something about a woman selling her ex-boyfriend's car. Anyone here?
I love that 3S cars are rare. How many Stealths do you guys figure are in Edm? 2nd Gens?
You guys that have 3000GTs in Canada? Did you import them from the States?
If I don't have a garage or driveway, does anyone know of a good public place where I can work on my car (pop the hood, maybe jack it up, etc.), and no one gets upset or looks at you funny?
Later.
