Yep, just need two more, and tell your DSM friends too. This short shifter will fit DSMs.

OK, I don't really need one, since I've already got the 3KGT shifter, but if all you need is one more person, and the price will be around $100, I'm in. That way I can compare the 2 shifters, and see which one I like better.

The '93 shifter is on 2Fast4U's car, since whatever I had was going to be buried in my parts box anyway. Do you want it for your Mini?!?! Ooops, forgot how tall it was. It'd be rubbing on your roof :D

From the other thread, I was under the impression it was the Seattle Short-throw Shifter. I'd be wary of the Ultimate Performance item, as I haven't had a lot of luck initially with any of the pieces that I've purchased from them. I wouldn't take the chance with my transmission, but that's just me.

The only 2 that I'd be comfortable with are the Ohio Spyderman or Seattle Short-throw, based on all the research I've done. And the Ohio one sounds like it is out of production for the time being.

I'm happy with my 3KGT, but I'm not about to downgrade.

Now where has SpeedFreakSteve gotten to??? :confused:

I would be aiming for around $100 CDN each for the best 3S short shifter in my opinion... the "Seattle" short shifter. I'd say that the majority of the road racing 3S guys that I've met say that the Seattle and the Ohio Spyderman shifters are the two best ones around for the 3S platform.

I'll have to hold off until the new year to get it all organized though. I'm off to Florida in 3 days.

I've contacted both 3sx and the maker of their short shifter directly. They both seem unwilling to do a group deal. I'm still looking at other alternatives though.
