I am pretty sure that you can change your exhaust without any issues.

So long as it passes emission controls (if you have any) and isn't obnouxiously loud (like over a certain DB level) you should be fine.

I mean, what happens if your stock one rusts through, you have to replace it. Now that doesn't include catalytic converters. To remove a working cat is illegal.

Since you live in MTL, i beleive they have immision laws there no?? If they do, and you remove both your cats, you're not gona pass emitions.

I know in Gatineau, we don't have emission laws. But if you get borla, you're fine, it's not illegal at all. Even if you remove your aftercat. You can still pass emissions with ONLY your main cat, as long as you're running high octane gas, and make sure the car is hot before it's tested.

So far there’s no E test In Quebec! Do I’m sure it won’t be long before it’s law.

The exhaust rule is aimed at the motorcycle, so as long as it’s not to loud the cops won’t bother you.

They have no way of testing our car right now! On my old Vette I hade 2 fake resonators installed on it and the cops couldn’t tell the difference. ;)

My next exhaust on the TT won’t have cats! :D
