The thought of seeing parka-clad women on the frozen tundra doesn't do much for me :( , but if you plan it in May or later, I'll do my best to get there!!! I'm sure we can get some more Alberta boys out. The last beach cruise we did here was a huge success! :D

We have to decide the date and we have to decide how many nights the stay in Kelowna will be if we are even planning on staying over night there.

It is possible to leave early in the morning and come back later during sunset or so.

3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening ain't so bad. All depends on how much driving everyone wants to do however.

I personally favour there and back in one day.

If you only do a day trip, you might eliminate the Alberta boys, since it will take some of the guys 11 hours driving to get there. If you spend a night somewhere in the Okanagan, it would work better for us. Think of all the bench racing we could do at the bar in the evening!?!? But hey, we're just crashing the party anyway!

If we make it more than one day, it makes it more attractive for the island boys too. It costs $100 just to get on and off the island. :( Im pretty sure three of us would come over. How many would come from Alberta, say on the long weekend??

Some people may not want to stay for 3 whole days due to hotel costs and food and whatever else someone would want to spend money on while out of town for 3 days.

Im not sure if Ill be able to attend anything just yet, but I know of a great road that is very very scenic, and very curvey and fun! Its just a few kilometers south of Penticton, and is the road that gets ya to Apex Mountain. Ill try to find the map that I found it on so I can give ya exact road names and stuff. I actually found it on my coaches "100 Best Roads in North America for Motorcycle Touring" Or something like that,.. I know for sure that it was #6 on the list. Its about a 2 hour loop, so we'd probably all have to travel for like 6 to get there, but if your into either a) scenery or b) smooth twisty roads, this the place for you. I had the MR2 there last June, and I was having the hardest time deciding between jamming a corner, or gazing out the T-Top at the mountains. Damn good time... thats all im sayin i guess!

Maybe an idea,.. I dunno.

Some more info on this route would be greatly appreciated. Soudns like a road we all have to try. :D Would be great for this trip.

I'm in for the overnight trip but I would really prefer to stay 2 nights just because of the driving. Is anyone else interested in staying for more then one night? By the way I was in kelowna not too long ago and me and the mrs stayed at the lakeshore inn. It was fairly inexpensive and a nice place :bigup:

haha yea thats right bob!, well this one is Black as well, but you'll know its me, i got blue ground effects, some crazy design for rims... and then low pro tires. but i have to wait till wednesday for beamriders to re-hook up all my stuff :(

Beamriders 'accidently' unhooked my ABS over my passenger front tire when they wired up my power amp......My ABS lightwas on all the time....... I asked them what they did..... 'nothing' they said....... time went by and I got fed up with arguing and took my wheel well cover off and sure enough, the ABS sensor was unplugged right beside the power wire they ran to the battery....... Schmucks......... :angry:
They did a crappy job of wiring up the stereo in my wife's mustang too. I should've done that one myself......
