Delivery problems

Man, I am getting really pissed off with Darkside Racing.

Some of you know I recently purchased a 95 RT/TT, and I have been waiting on delivery of the car because it requires new springs (last owner cut them to lower it).

Well, my dealer ordered a set of sprint springs on Jan 29 from DSR, and I still haven't received them.

They said that the sprint springs had been discontinued and they substituted them with H&R's and that they were sent out on Feb. 4. Well the dealer STILL hasn't received them :mad: :mad:

I really don't think it takes over 2 weeks to deliver a set of springs from the states :rolleyes: , so this has become pretty much laughable.

They haven't responded to my messages or emails, and I am really starting to get pissed (hence why I am actually using the name of the company I got them from, unlike before). If I had of known they couldn't deliver the springs in a reasonable time frame, I would have never gave my dealer their number.

This is pathetic, they said on the 13th that the springs would be here "today or tomorrow", and yet still nothing.

I swear I am so mad. Hell, if anyone has a set of stock springs kicking around I may just buy them off you just so I can get my bloody car that I am paying interest on, have a lein against and yet don't have in my possession yet because of SHITTY delivery.

Pissed.

Well, the shocks arrived on Friday (21st). Now all they need is the rubber inserts and upper perches to arrive and we are golden. They ordered those parts on Friday from the dealer.

Right now I have the car, but it rides like absolute crap. The cut springs make you feel everything, and I think they may have ruinned the shocks. I have to take the car back to the dealer to replace the springs once the other items come in (the new ones aren't on) and I have to get him to check a few things.

1. the shocks (the car was lowered A LOT, so the shocks may be ruinned)

2. the wheel balance. I have an absolutely horrible shimmy at about 95km's, and after 100km it feels like the car is going to fall apart.

3. inconsistant idle when the car is warmed up.

So far that is the only mechanical issues I have. Other then that, the sunroof and hatch rattle a lot due to the cold and the suspension problems, but I hope once everything is fixed it will be minimalized.

I like the car, but right now I am debating on bringing it back to the dealer ASAP, as I don't think it is safe to drive.

edit - Oh, I haven't received my other items I ordered from them yet though, actually I have received anything I purchased yet from anybody.

I will be much happier when all that comes in.
