free mod for 91-93

Just a link on how to remove the boost control soleniod restrictor for 91-93. Not mentioned very often, and free, safe 20hp. Should be everyones first mod to get a taste of more boost :)

I did it before i put in my Boost Controller and i recommend it to everyone. car feels stronger after this, and all you are doing is bringing it up to the 94+ specs.

- a little blurry, but all you really need is to see which hunk of plastic is the boost solenoid, and read the proceedure. should take 5 mins.

(hint for getting it out, I used a fishing hook, bent it straight, stuck it in the opening, and hooked out the restrictor with the barb on the hook. but do what you find works best.)

Sounds like an interesting free upgrade. Following on monopoly's question; has anyone else tried it that can verify the before and after results on a quality boost gauge. Since I'm new to the 3Si world, I'm holding back until I see some numbers.

But I really want to try it...........

i did the mod!
i tried bending a fishhook like eddie did but all i had in the garage wa sa set of old ones that kept breaking. so i used one of those metal pokey things u use to stick in turkey's to see if there done or not:)
it took me about 15 mins cause the hose was bein stubborn to come off!
