$60 to gut the pre-cats. How long, well when you’ll get here the exhaust will be hot, but I should be able to do it in 3 hrs.

Install your boost controller, boost gauge, … name it I’ll install it!

Sorry I’m a bit slow with the response.
Well my MBC (the first boost controller on my car) was a bras bleeder valve for aquariums, $8.00 at a pet store. My boost gauge is an Autometer, $120.00.

To install the MBC it takes 5 minutes, but a bit longer to do the boost gauge.
Make it $25 to install the MBD and Boost gauge!

If you plan on using a MBC and plan to play with boost it is more than crucial:) to have it is necessary.... that is somethin ya don't wanna fuk up!!!


You should be able to find a gauge somewhere for a deal, try looking on msg boards, I paid $50 for my auto meter phantom gauge and it works great.... had it tested in a instrument lab at an oil refinery too

The boost gauge is crucial, I refuse to install a MBC with out an after market boost gauge!
Even dough I have an AVC-R, I still have my mechanical boost gauge (autometer) installed, the AVC-R cold fail any time.

Fuel pump rewire: running bigger wire to the fuel pump, directly from the battery, this will increase the voltage to the pump therefore fuel pressure = more boost. You need an inline fuse, #10 wire, relay and a few wires connectors.

If you increase boost, you also need to regap the spark plug, or you’ll get spark plug blowout at around 13psi.

I bought mine (supra pump) used for $80 CDN. You can by them new for $100 US.

Injectors (450, 500, 550, 660 and 720cc).
You can buy them used, the 450cc are stock on turbo DSM, but you’ll have a hard time finding used (500, 550, 660 and 720cc) the price vary from $85 to $145 US each.

Labour $35 hrs/ no taxes.

The works that I’ve done so far on 3S are:
- Changed the clutch on a 92 TT
- Changed the rack and pinion on a 92 TT
- Converted a 92 TT from 5 speeds to 6 speeds tranny.
- Installed a Supra fuel pump and hot wire.
- Snake eyes.
- Installed AVC-R. (boost controller)
- Installed AutoMeter boost gauge.
- Welded a new flex section on a down-pipe.
- Gutted pre-cats.
- Installed test-pipe.
- Installed a J spec motor, tranny and swap performance parts in a 93 VR4. (injectors, turbos, …)
- Converted a 98 3000GT from automatic to manual.
- Change the input shaft in a manual tranny.
