Anyone have the Stock shifter Knob??

Anyone have a stock shifter knob thats in good cond???
and are willing to sell it for a reasonable price???

mine's so worn u can't even tell there was #'s on it!:(

Mine is worn too and the stiching is partially gone, it looks the shits!!! I'd say sometime I'll get an aftermarket one

My ex-girlfriend got me one for my birthday :rolleyes: and it has some metal on it. I will tell you now, never get a shift knob with metal on it! red hot in the summer. I actually had a mitten in my glovebox to put over it on hot days. take off your glove and grab it with a toasty miost palm in the winter, and you freeze to it!

Now i have gotten used to shifting by grabbing the boot under it. :rolleyes:

I can try and dig up my stock one and see what sort of condition it is in. Its somewhere in the basement-of-no-return.

lol, i am using momo shift knob and i got the one that is total metal. It freezes like hell that i can't grab it when i park it outside overnight..... on summer time, u can't grab it too or else it burns your hand.. LOL

but well, it looks much better than OEM

lol that's hilarious! I haven't seen ANYTHING aftermarket that's catched my eye yet...i don't want one the sits too high cause it just looks stoopid:p

Hey if you had a metal one...you could just throw a cover over top of it(when not driving of course;) ) in the summer so it wouldnt be exposed to sunlight!!:D

You know, I never thought about it, but what you have is an additional theft deterrent.....

Burn the potential thief's hands in the summer...and freeze him to your stick in the winter. Unfortunately if he freezes to death, you have to do something with the carcass......

well those shift knobs look very nice! But like you guys were talkin about they are metal and i don't feel like scorching my hands!:cool:

I saw some nice carbon fiber Ractive ones today at a stand in the mall in Newmarket for only $29.99! They kinda look like momo rip off's!

I like it. I fits nicely in the palm of my hand, and is nice and low to the consol. The grip is also good, and is good quality.

I paid just under $100 for it from Performance Improvements in Oshawa. I was looking at others like Ractive and Vibrant, but neither had the quality in them or a decent feel.

I needed one as the one I hand was a cheap one and wearing in the rubber grip area.

well I got the momo raptor and I run my car in winter and got no problem.....I installed it last night....only thing I dont like is it sits a little higher than b4.....might just have to force it a little more on the stick.......

yeah? man i gotta have somethin short...that's the way togo fer me! i have an oldskool shifter knob in my MR2, but the thing is tiny compared to the stock stealth one. I think i changed my mind...im gunna keep my stock knob on:cool:
