In case you don t see me sign on much in the next couple weeks its probably because I m watching the Oilers.... in the second round :D

Too bad, a BOA would have been fun :) The only thing better than the Flamers losing is the Flamers losing to the Oil :)

Go figure- Oilers fans are happy they don't have to face the Flames in the second round-must be all the success the Oil have had against Calgary in the last couple years.
BTW, San Jose doesn't have Manny Legasieve in goal...

Flame fans making excuses and "oh your just glad you aren't playing the Flames!" hahaha.... your right, the Wings are SUCH an easy ticket into the second round.... It ain't 2004 and Cinderella has lost the glass slipper.... one fluke run into the finals and two years later they come back to reality.... I love it :) I love how all year Sutter says he doesn t need anymore scoring, then they get shutout by a BACKUP in game 7... what a tool :)

BTW- I was looking forward to a BOA so don t put words in my mouth.... I could have cared less if they won or lost.. i just think its funny they lost....:)

1:What excuses did you see???
2:The Wings (like the Stars) benefited (if you can call it that) from 24 games against St Louis, Chicago, and Columbus-the two of them lost 7 out of 48 games against those 3 teams, and both of them had vastly inflated records because of that-not to mention Detroit had to use their backup goalie.
3:Not much difference between a 'fluke run into the finals' and managing to get into the second round.
And Rollie Melanson is going to wake up any day now and remember that he's Rollie Melanson...
that said, congratulations to the Oilers making the second round, and good luck from here on...

1-The excuse I was referring to was that the Oilers beat Detroit due to Legace being in net....

2- I agree that their record was inflated due all the games with but look at their roster...its half the Swedish olympic team....hardly a pushover. Any team Lidstrom, Zetterberg and Datsyuk are on are legit.

3- 2004 for the Flames had a LOT of luck involved.... didn t the first 3 round all go 7 games and at least 2 of 3 into OT? A lucky bounce for the other team and the Flames magical run is over....

4- never underestimate a hot goalie no matter what his name is... whether its Bryzgalov, Theodore or Roloson...
