That's the best laugh that I've had in a long time. An Echo?!?!?!? A buddy of mine got stuck with one of them when his Land Rover was getting repaired. He couldn't even maintain 100 km/h on the trans-Canada going to Banff with 2 people in the car. But everyone is allowed to dream, tomorrow he'll be telling stories of how his Echo nipped Michael Schumacher in the Australian G.P.

I think I would nearly piss my pants laughing if someone rev'd their echo at me. Well, he may beat me then because I would be hyperventilating from laughing, that I wouldn't be able to press the gas peddle (I would say, launch, but that would be over kill).

I am sure they can be made fast (i.e. money can make ANYTHING fast), but still, it is a commuter car that is meant to get wicked gas milage.

I am surprised they haven't said "well we get 100 miles a gallon" or "well, your car cost twice as much"...blah :rolleyes:

The worst part is that some aftermarket supplier is making intake manifolds for them. Yup, guaranteed 10% more hp. Gee, that'll give me 66 hp. :D

lol i know someone who works at a Kia dealership and he got a really good deal on that "so called" sport model one(forget the name) guys got a Air intake on it and soon getting rims and a skirt...what a waste of money!
