Well, in May a friend of mine is getting married and for their "charriot" they are renting a Viper GTS. Now he has suggested that since he has the car for 4 days, I come down and we line up.
Now, I know vipers are beasts of a car, so I hoping to have at least the injectors on by then and be tuned ok. If everything goes perfect, I will have 13g's on, but I don't think I will need them.
I think it will be a pretty good match, if I don't have the advantage. By advantage I mean, it is a rental and probably improperly broken in, and I will have more "seat time" then he will. So while he is spinning his tires, I will just be putting some distance on him.
Anyway, what do you think my chances are? My performance mods by then will be:
Greddy Profec eo-1
Greddy emanage
Greddy Type-s BOV
DSR stock size lightened pulley
K&N intake
3" downpipe (unknown make, but has precats, main cat and flex section)
3" catback (unknown make, but I think either HKS superdragger or a borla of sorts)
DN ypipe
450 injectors
walboro 255 FP
I will also hopefully have replaced my blown shocks (grr, that is what happens when you cut springs...old owner was a hoser), and I will be running stock 18's.
If I get the turbo's on by then, I think I have it in the bag unless we go from a roll, then it will be very interesting (to see how badly walked I get).
I am sure he will want to go from both dead dig and a roll.
Oh, I will also have it taped. :D
