Hey, i have non turbo 3kgt, this is my first GT and i just love it, but i wants to put turbo in it, can i put turbo on stock engine or should i put twin turbo engine or instead of doing all that just buy a VR4 which is worth it and cheaper, my stock non turbo is pretty strong, runs very good i am not too much fast car freak but just want enough boost to satisfy ;) so please let me know

1. put turbo on stock motor
2. installed twin turbo engine/tranny
3. buy tt vr4

thanks

well.. buying a VR4 also give you the AWD...
since you engine run so great, maybe a 4th option would be better for you:

mod it staying N/A (or with a compressor)

on 3SI.org, there is a thread... the bibble of mod for N/A (or somthing like that.. I always forget the nam of it.. )

I think you should read about it before taking a decision, maybe it wont be anough for you... mayby it would cost more??? maybe it would be the best thing ever??!

Even if you throw a turbo into it, you will not be happy...you will always want more and more and more.

thanks for suggestions

thats true its just human nature we dont get satisfy with everything which we get but i never had any turbo charged car and its just ambition to get 1. the reason y i come up with this thing cus i love 3000gt and i love the way they looks and ride ... i saw fou selling his yellow 3kgt so i was thinking buy his 3kgt sell my current one and i am also getting a complete front clip of 91-93 3kgt twin turbo with tranny and put that into yellow 3kgt so this way i will have a 95 3kgt with twin turbo engine for cheap and i dont need to add any extra money after selling my current GT or swap the engine to twin turbo engine on my current one ... so thats what i am thinking should i buy his and make it twin turbo which will cost me cheap or put twin turbo motor on my current car

I bought my 3000gt from montana for 3400 can. With a blown motor. I picked it up with a U-haul trailer. It's an 8 hour drive their. It cost me 300 can to bring it throught the border. The US economy is in the crapper. Our dollar is almost the same as theirs. Go down their and buy yourself a car. Ebay has loads of them. If I had more money I could do this for a year and then retire. Do not bother trying to convert your car. It's a waste of time and money. Trust me.

Why this discussion goes on and on amazes me...the previous reply by VIOLENTPUMPKIN absolutely says it all
