Car wont start

Like the title says, my car wont start.
I thought it was the battery since when I turned the key I got no lights no nothing. So I hooked it up the good old jumpers and I got power, I tried to start the engine and it did, 5 min later I unlocked the door(power locks) and the engine shut off. After that it wont start anymore, I just get power with the jumpers but the engine wont even try to start.
(I was told it was the terminals but would that account for the jumpers not being able to start the car?)

yea that happens to the best of us.
I pulled the latch to pop the hood and all the sudden everything comes back on - to default settings tho.

Ya but mine isent turning over periode now. So I wanted to know if it is the terminals or something else. (Because even when I hooked up the jumper cables I would get all the power but the engine wouldent start.) And even when I managed to get the engine running once with the jumpers as soon as I unlocked the doors(power) after 5 min of idleing the engine shut off.
Any other suggestions?

Never mind. I cleaned out the terminals and it runs perfectly.
