Yay another guessing game! So heres the story, My rear turbo (td04) was seezed so we took it apart and rebuilt it, but as we are taking it apart a flat, small washer the same shape of a key-chain ring (coils around) falls out of the middle of the housing. Ive looked at every diagram and ripped the turbo apart twice looking for where this came from. I hate to put to the turbo back on with out this washer and find out it was important. Sorry I have no pictures at the moment of the washer but I will get some. Any ideas or diagrams that fit this discription? Thanks guys

If you had a pic I could help you better as I did my turbos a few years ago. Did you get the assemblies balanced or did you mark them when you took them apart?

I had my turbos balanced at Alamo industries,30-5225 6 th st NE in Calgary. There phone number is 274 6211. When I did mine they had the rebuild kits in stock for the tdo4. They balance the shaft assembly before you put them together. I think I paid 150-200 to balance both of mine.
