Hey Guys,

First the reason why I might sell:
While driving my stealth on the highway this weekend, suddenly the car took off on its own?!?! I couldn't get the throttle to stop, and it quickly revved higher and higher to WOT! After sh*tting myself and pulling over and shutting my motor off. I opened the hood to inspect - the throttle somehow jammed on its own to WOT. At that point I tried to see if it would start.... Nothing, just a click. Something in the motor let go when I shut it off from WOT. So my motor is F*CKED! :-(
Upon inspection at my buddy's shop that night, this is what happend: the rubber gasket between the throttle body and intake piping came loose, got sucked into the throttle body and jammed the throttle at WOT. A stupid 10cent piece of rubber caused my motor to blow up!!

1992 Dodge Stealth RT/TT
Extremely well maintained! Mint Body! ZERO RUST! Drove GREAT!
'Rust Check' Oil drilled and sprayed + 'Coat & Protect' undercoating.
Stored 99% of winter.

New oil pump, water pump, timing belt, tensioners, pulleys, belts, valve cover gaskets, misc gaskets.
ALL BRAND NEW FROM MITSUBISHI (60,000mile service done 6,000miles ago!)

Brand new Bottom End Bearings (connecting rod bearings) - also 6000miles ago. Always run with Amsoil 100% synthetic!

Transmission, transfer case, diff, fluids always checked and changed.
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs.

Original 17" RT wheels with Dunlop SP5000 Tires (50% tread or more)
Everything worked (except ABS) - ECS, A/C, pwr windows, locks, cruise, power seats, etc..

Borla Exhaust & Custom Downpipe (not in pics & not incl. in case I get another 3si later.)

All this car needs is a motor rebuild. Not sure what's gone in the motor, so could be small??

Make me an offer - just seeing what hits I get, because I need a new car.

Photos don't do the car justice, looks nicer in person. Paint has pearl metallic.

Thanks guys!
Regards,
Amit

How do you know your motor is shot? Because you hear a click when you try to start it? Are you sure it isnt just the starter?

We tried to jump start it too, and once i let the clutch out, the car came to a sudden stop and locked the wheels up instantly.

So I'm pretty sure its locked up somehow - something let go I think.
