Hey guys,
I need some help...I'm looking at buying a 1992 JDM Right hand drive GTO. The car is here in canada and I'm trying to figure out ways to plate the car. Either way if I don't get the car plated I will make a track only car out of it but I would like to get it plated for some street killing.
Also can someone tell me what's the deal with the turbo's...Do the 13g's come on the JDM GTO's? I'm going to see the car again this weekend and I want to know what to look for cause the car has a shit load Of JDM Aftermarket shit on it and I'm new to the 3Kgt/Stealth/Gto world :confused: , I have a 95 Turbo Eclipse and a Jdm Motor swapped Civic and non of those come close to this beauty GTO.

Nope, Jspec come with 9b's. Ask Leo actually, lol. Ask him what turbo's were on his Jspec motor:p .
Euro spec models came with 13G's, and those are the only models that had 13G's on them STOCK!! The good thing is, you have NO cats whatsoever, no main cat, no aftercat. Just straight downpipe boy. hehehe

Thanks Peter...Leo seems to think some Jspecs come with 13g's. In any effect I'll just upgrade the turbo's and my last question is What turbo's are good for track use and Is single turbo an option that would be more beneficial?

Single Turbo hasn't been succesfully done yet. It requires ALOT of custom work, and custom fabrication of stuff. ANd will require ALOT of money. I woudln't go that route unless i had the money to waste, 'cause it hasn't been proven yet.
If you want a daily driven car that's very streetable, i would go fro either 13G's or 15G's. If you want something BIG that flows BIG, I would go GT368 turbo's, GT357's, DR-650's, or even 20G's. They're a little laggy at first, but damn they feel nice, hehe.
Actually, i just re-read what i wrote, and the 357's are not overkill at all. They're TD04 housing, bolt straight up to all the stock piping, and are the size of of the stock turbo's i beleive, and have very little lag, but are also pretty damn powerfull. I'd go either 15G's or 357's for a fast daily driver, hehe.

Sounds Tight Peter. The Eclipse is at the Body shop for paint and body kit install. When it gets back next week the Motor goes in so I'll be heading back to See the GTO soon. The Eclipse is going in the trader the day it gets finished!
how much you gona ask for the eclipse?
JDM – if you need some one to look at it, I can probably go with you!
I just finish installing Leo Jspec engine and started to port and polish the 4 bolts main!

OH BTW SPEED, i saw an eclipse that said speed on the back of it just like yours in orlando, hehe. i started yelling "JOEY JOEY", dude looked at me like i was psycho, go figure, LOL.

The Gto is still there I have to sell my damn ECLIT first. Are you serious you saw an ECLIT with SPEED on the back? Man I heard some kid in Ottawa saw my ECLIT and Did the same. I have yet to see his car. It's so hard to be Rare nowadays...Damn ECLIT RICERS! LOL
Ah well More reason to go Right hand drive GTO!

Not to sure yet. There's alot into the car but I want to wait to see what The local boys are selling similar ECLITS for that way I can get mine sold asap. We Started prepping the body kit and moulding it into the body. We're starting to prep the body and underbody along with anything we can paint. The car is a shell I stripped it completely bare that way we can paint everything to make it look like a show finish like it came from the factory. Under the hood is all gutted out aswell, from Power steering lines to anything obstructing body that needs paint.
Needless to say the next owner is gonna have a sweet show ride.

Yeah man I'll be asking more than 15 for shizzle. And no Rwd set up...Shit is expensive to do and I don't wanna fuck with the car anymore. Just want it to put good numbers down on the dyno and make it pretty.
When she's out and your back in town we'll have 3 more runs at Vincent Massey at the Lights! This time don't miss your shift! That shit was fun...two of the tightest White Mitsu's in Ottawa running the 1/4!

hehehe, yeah, that was fun. My car was bone bone bone bone stock, stock air filter, stock EVERYTHING, hehe. Plus i was a shitty driver with that car then:p . But for sure i'll spank your ass again this summer at vincent massey. I should be running flat high 11's to flat 12's this summer(still gona be on stock turbo's:( ). I hope your car is slower than that, so we can replicated for old times sake, LOL;) .

WHen i came back here, i was pulling the usual 1.7 60foots. lol, i just couldn't launch at that track. Next time around, i'll let you do a few runs in my car to see what you can pull. Your driving was awesome that night.
