You should ask around garages and stuff (not the place that actually does the tints) they can usually suggest a place. Im going to be looking for tints soon too, my tint in the back (I think its stock tint) is coming apart and that makes it hard to see out the rear.

I had tints done on 3 of my vehicles, including the Stealth, back in 2001 at Ziebart in Newmarket (382 Mulock Drive, 905-898-1797). 36% tint all all windows. $230 + taxes.

All the tints are still fine today, six years later.

Tintmaster & Rust Check of Barrie (now called DDF Automotive), does pretty good work. I used to work there. They do all the tinting, rust proofing, alarms, remote starters, accessories, for Barrie Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, etc, etc... For most of the OEMs they are the certified installers in the Barrie Area. I was a one of the tech. installers, and I know they do great Alarms/Remote Starter installs if you need that too. They use Lumar tints, and guarantee their work. The owners name is Doug, he's a good guy if your nice to him. Bring him a Tea from Timmys and ur guaranteed to get a great service, lol.

what if i have scratches on my window?

i had my stealth done at a the tintmaster in calgary
lasted about 2 years my passenger door window tint crack and peeled.. i took it back to them and they didnt stand behind there lifetime warranty, blaming my car for the cause of my wrecked tint.
They were really shady about it all too
and then he tried to convince me to pay them to fix it and when i laughed at the guy he offered me a discount
so it was kind of a shady experience

not to say that tintmaster across canada is a bad company, but I wont ever go back there

Yeah, they are all owned and operated separately. Doug wasn't happy with some of the things, thats why he just separated and went on his own - hence the new name 'DDF Automotive'. They are good about their guarantees and work cooperatively with almost ALL the dealerships in Barrie and area. When I worked there, we had customers come from all over the GTA. Its the only place I'd have my car tinted. Ive had some shitty tints done in my time too.

Its funny, Tintmaster is just the name, the choice of Tint manufacturer, styles, service is all up to the individual owner. i dont even think the Tintmaster in Calgary is the same Franchise.
