so.... i have a few small oil leaks and the dealer wants $2300 to fix em. i was going to do it anyway, so now is the perfect time to rebuild the motor. i will go forged internals, but i would like to pick the 3s communties brain on the best way to go. stroker kit, good pistons, cams, rods, ect, heads, bore to 3.1liter, use mitsu 3.5 liter and bolt on heads from 3.0, and on and on. my goal is a reliable 500+ awhp daily driver. just wondering what anybody on the board has done to their motors and their results, good or bad. thanks ;)
what turbos did you have in mind? I left my bottom end alone for now because they are good enough to support around the 600 hp range according to dynamic racing but..... I will likely get all forged internals this winter or sell my motor and buy ray's 3.1 stroker kit. but for now I just had my heads done and slapped on a td05 kit and away I went. I'll let you know my dyno numbers when i get the car over there. btw I'm just curious to know where your car is leaking oil out of that would cost 2300 to fix and bring you to rebuild the motor?

at first i considered, and still am, 15g's. but i am also considering ball bearing turbos by gt pro (i forget the model number). the big $ for fixing the leak was the crankcase seal. also the camshaft seals, and i needed a new belt too. keep me posted on the dyno numbers. thanks
