New Users Cannot Join Forum

I have invited a ton of new stealth owners and I wondered why they never showed up on the board. One new owner told me that you can't register for the forum any more, or something like that. Is this true? Can it be fixed?

There is a "skill testing question" that is required, this was put in place because the number of "automated" spammers were creating lots of users and SPAM posts. If they do not complete the fields as required, they don't get added in.. there have been new users added lately.. so the subscriptions are working..

This is most likely what is causing their problem....

I have had one or two new members emailing me from 3Si telling me that although they have filled out the application correctly, they still can only read and not post????

Hmm, perhaps they did not click the link in the confirmation email sent to them?

If you can put together a list of user names, i'll activate them manually.

I filled out the registry over a month ago. I just got an email this morning saying it was activated? Something is wrong, shouldn't take that long!

And yes , we all have managed to get registered here , sooo, dont think we are all dumb and cant click on the link..
no need to get your pantys in a bunch because you couldn't do a simple division....:p

It wasn't in our hands. It's something to do with this type of forum. I found that on a lot of forums new users have been stuck until activation, lately. I'm not sure why this is happening but it's annoying.:p
