Well I think I'll get it shipped to the US and get it back. I was hoping to get some help here fast for someone to do it rather instead.

Just make sure its repairable....open it up and make sure the board itself isnt damaged i.e. layers of board lifting or peeling up....they wont fix it then.

thx bud I will check that up =) But my car is still running fine now. I upped the idle by the basic idle air screw and it solved my problem. It could now be ecu or the IAC that is shitting on me but I will get that damn ECU fixed anyways :) Tried to clean the IAC but the thing wouldn't move one bit. Split the bottom bolt in two and now I have to find a way to remove it. The damn thing was like soldered in place so i'll have to take the whole throttle body out to give it a good cleaning.

you will know when your ecu goes...sparks, smoke, smells like rotten fish...and most likely your car wont start. and of course the dreaded dead ecu code.
but replacing the caps as a preventative measure might be a good idea, as its cheap, and can save you from having to replace the whole unit after it blows up like mine did....

Yeah that is why I consider it good preventive maintenance ;) It can solve some possible erratic problems altough. And I don't want to pay for a new one either
