View Full Version : 6G72 Engine in a?
I was just wondering, besides the stealth or 3000GT what cars are big enough or would it be easy to put a 6G72 engine in like something that weighs less than our cars? or that would be one hell of a sleeper yet easy enough to install.
Well the 2.5l v6 avenger/sebring use the 6g73, and the MKII stratus/sebring use a 3.0l v6, I believe to be a n/a 6g72 or a varient of the 6g73.
They both "could" be done, but the engine hieght and extra size required for all the piping in the stealth would be difficult to overcome.
But, theoretically it could be done. But, anything can be done with enough money.

big dreams!
a Sebring would be real nice as a sleeper!:whoa:
I used to own an avenger, so I know them a bit. It would take new motor mounts and a shoe horn to get a 6g72TT in there with proper piping. You would also need a cowl hood to cover the extra height.
But for most avenger/sebing owners (well at least the 2.0 i4 owners) it is much easier and cheaper to buy a turbo kit and go from there. There are a number guys putting over 300hp to the wheels that I know of and one that puts down well over 400.
Some where in these videos is Armond30's avenger vs. a single turbo (TS04) supra. Watch and see.

Armond also owns a modded Stealth.
