I've bought a new Prius :) and I'm thinking of selling my black 94 Turbo for whatever is "fair" these days. Autotrader.ca seems to indicate 12-14k as an asking price. Autotrader.com seems a bit higher.
All that said I know trade-in values are much lower. A friend sold a 94 TT a while back for $6k as-is I believe, but it had more mechanical issues and paint issues than mine. I'm in no rush to sell as I think we need a 3 vehicle fleet anyway.
So I'm figuring that $10k as-is, or perhaps $12k with a safety would be about right.
The TT has all the usual stuff. Location: Ottawa/Gatineau.
200 k kms, timing belt not done for 2nd time yet. Still pulls strong with no signs of distress.
Stock except for exhaust and intake. I'm 2nd owner since 1996 and I and original owner treated it pretty well.
In pretty good shape. No accidents, but a few minor-ish blemishes. Black paint still looks shiny but theres swirl marks if you look right. Steering boots are ripped and front exhaust may need replacement soon. Have service manuals and all receipts.
Will upload pictures later this weekend.
