Today, the fuel light is on, so i went to sunoco for 94~ After that, i drove around, and weird thing happened after i restart my car...
the car won't idle, it keeps dropping to nearly stall and the car gas it back up itself. However, i can't drive because when i release the clutch, the car just keep choking.. i have to restart the car few times before i can drive it back home :(
When i start the car, it won't idle and i hear pop sound out of the exhaust, if i press gas to higher rpm in netural, the check engine light will come up.. Does anyone know what's wrong with it?
I really don't know tho..

If it occurred right after you filled the gas tank, especially with an almost empty tank, you might have some crud that could be blocking you fuel filter. It's just a guess, but it'd be my first one.
Next up, would be the possibility of having some water in the gas. Go to Crappy Tire or somewhere and pick up a bottle of Water Remover/Methyl Hydrate, throw it in the tank, and wait 15 minutes. This should absorb any water in your tank. Then try starting it and see if it changes anything.
for a start, check the "check engine light" codes.
lots of info on this on www.3si.org
might be your o2 sensor . try disconeecting the wires to each one of them, and see if your problem lessens....but dont drive around like this for too long ie. couple days or so.....you'll choke your catalytic converter.
It may just be bad fuel or junk in your lines but sometimes these things are just a coincidence.

Maybe check your air filter and air filter connector???
Hmmm....another big one is the mass airflow sensor...make sure its connected well, and if it is, disconnect it and see if it makes a difference.

occasionally when I start my car it won't idle. It revs very low, and then will stall out. If I keep the revs up, and back out it is fine once I start driving...weird. I just blame it on the "dodge" emblem on the car...???

ya it sounds like it needs air and is just choking from lack of air...
if you have your stock air box try to put that on, plug in all the right plugs and try starting up the car with that on...if it works then you know where the prob is :)
good luck...

I did get water in my gas tank last summer, the car was running like shit (on and off). Got it on the computer and the mechanic told me that my MAS needed to be change.
There’s no way that a MAS will be ok and the next minute is off and ok and off and …
The ambient temperature can have an effect on a piece of electronic, but only one effect. The car will run like shit when it’s cold and ok when it’s hot or vice versa.
But mine last summer was sporadic, hot or cold it didn’t make a difference!
It was water!!!

I has that a couple of years ago, where it wouldn't idle. I had to drive two footed everywhere (I have an automatic) or it would stall when I stopped. As I recall, my mechanic did an adjustment on the idle and it was fine after that.

Well, solve this problem too.
In the morning, or after sitting for a while. For the first block or so my car hesitates really bad. The exhaust pops alot, and it does not want to accelerate. Once I've been driving a few blocks the hesitation goes away.
It doesn't help if I let it idle/warm up for a while first...same problem.
