Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if you will be driving your TT's this winter. I'm looking at some snows to fit on my stock rims and have been steered towards:
Pirelli Winter 210/240 Snowsport
the new
Nokian WR (I think this is an all season tire with the Snoflake emblem)
=======
Currently I have the old Goodyear M&S tires that have never failed me.
Thanks,
Mike

I’m using blizzak 245-45/17, they’re very good!

Either you do, or you don't... I love it! Especially when everyone else around me is either stuck or sliding from side to side.

I ran All seasons that were 275 wide last winter and only had a few power oversteers (my foots fault, not the tires  )
i drove a rear wheel drive 240sx for years before the stealth and the last winter i had it, i didnt even bother putting on the snow tires. maybe 2 days out of the whole winter i needed snow tires. And with the stealth's 4WD, 4WS, ABS you should never have a major problem.
If you are worried about rust, thats one thing, but nobody should be nervous to drive these things in the snow. Our AWD is more advanced than the Explorers for sure, and probably alot of other SUV's too.
If it were me, i'd spare myself from the loose, loud, horrible performance for 5 months of the year, and take the $800 I saved and go to Cuba in January, and not worry about your black steel wheels at all.
But hey, thats just my two cents
:)
What are you talking about, there no steel wheels for the TT?

I've driven RWD in the winter as well (Dad's Stingray) and for the first two years in the Stealth, I drove on summer tires! OEM was Goodyear GatorBacks.
Right now my ABS is not functioning and I'd rather be safe than sorry - I have a heavy foot too! :-)
Blizzak's seem to be popular here, and after further research I would probably not go with Pirelli.
So... has anyone had any experience with Nokian tires? I know that their Hakka Snow Tires are very good. I'm interested in the new WRs as they have 17" sizes.
Thanks,
Mike

I mean those beautiful spare-tire-looking black steel wheels that they put the 175/65/17 snow tires on.
