Hey guys,
So I've been on 3Si for a while, and I just found out about this site.
I'm originally from Mantioba, but recently moved to Cranbrook, B.C.
I've had a base 93 automatic Stealth for the past 3 years, and I love her (Mia).
Last year I imported a 2006 Lancer EVO IX from the states. It was rediculous. I loved that car too. Unfortunately, I had it for only 4 months before an elk decided he didn't like the front end and it needed an arrangement. After a quick trip off him and through a fence, it was totalled.
After a brief greiving period, I began the process of importing a 92 Mazda RX-7 FD Type R from Japan. It's in Vancouver right now, I'm just waiting to go pick it up.
A friend of mine had a 91 VR-4 he imported from the states. He was having a problem with the fueling, and ended up rewiring the MFI. Apparently not very well, as it fried the ECU. The next day, someone smashed the window and stole his deck, box and exhaust. He was just sick of dealing with the car, and so he sold it to me.
I put in a new window, exhaust, downpipe, boost gauge and controller and did the vacuum hose reduction.
I've been having some issues with it, but hopefully I can resolve them shortly. Then I plan on selling it, hopefully back to him.
Anyway, it's great to meet you guys. Hopefully I can meet up with some of you sometime!
