So who is doing the Ottawa gathering for the summer of 2003?
You know i'm there BOY!!!!!!!! We need to make this one intersting, that way hopefully more people will come, *cough* *cough* like the*cough* TORONTO*cough* folks.

I will definitly be there as well......by summer of 03 ill have a vr4 imported up here to the GTA......so count me in :D

LOL. I would, but i have my hands full, hehehe. Why don't we just leave it to the TO folks this year, and we can all have a nice big gathering in TO. That would be cool no?
White you might not need to go through the pain of importing a vr4, after going true autotrader on line, I’ve found a 92vr4, 2-95sl, 4-95sl spyder and 2-99se.

personally i would rather import a vr4 from down in florida.....i got mine down there for a really good deal (91' vr4 w/ 90k on it for under 7000)....plus id rather have a florida car that has never seen winter......so im having my brother that lives down there look out for deals for me and if one is good enough ill just have him pick it up for me.....then ill just drive it up next yr.....thanks for the info though :D
Don't bother importing it, hehehe. Just leave it tagged in Florida. My car is tagged in South Carolina, and i'm gona keep it that way. if they as you where you live at the border, say Florida, lol, and that you're going to visit canada, or they won't let you bring the car in. Actually, say you're an american citizen, they'll let you bring it in.
If you find one, and you're gona drive back to canada, let me know. I'm driving my car from SC to ottawa this summer too. Gona go to the Ocean City gathering, and from there, to canada.
Listen to Peter he knows how much of a pain it’s to bring a US car to Canada!
After you find the one you want, you can contact the Mitsu dealer in Toronto, he import them over, it just might end up costing the same and he’ll bring it in for you!

i thought about that....what if they ask for id...all the info i have on myself will point out that i live in canada? is there a way to get around that? and can i get insurance on a car in florida with my canadian DL? i think it will just be easier to import it even though it will cost me.....ind the end it will all be worth it......i dont know exactly when im going to get it......hopefully march but most likely by summer......so yea ill let you know when ill be driving it back up..........im definitly going down the end of march for spring break in daytona.....hopefully ill be able to drive back up with a vr4 instead of the beater im going to have to drive down.

no im not........... i was born in vancouver........just been in the states for the last 15 yrs or so.........im in the process of getting my dual citizenship now though.......so ill just see how it goes when the time comes to actually decide whether to import the car or just leave the florida plates on

Thank you FOU. Just gun ho for it . I have my car in the shop all ready checking the bottom end may have snaped a rod or something . Just can't wait to me most of you it's nice to have others who have the same love for 3/S.

Hopefully we'll have something nice and big going in either ottawa, or toronto this summer. it would be nice to have a big gathering.

The one last summer was on the Canada Day weekend, there was like 10 or 12 of us and only 2 from outside of town. This coming up summer I’m sitting back and letting the other one’s set-up the gathering!
Ottawa work for me, I don’t need to rent a room$$$

I actually heard about the meet last summer. I didn't know you guys organised it. I was told by the Chrysler dealership in Hull (I service my car there enventhough I live in Ottawa). Unfortunetaly, I couldn't attend it since that same day, my older brother had organised a Lexus IS300 meet up here and I went with him instead.
This is really a cool site. I never realised there was so many of us living in Ottawa. Actually, I've never even seen your cars on the street.
As for an other meet? It would be cool but it all depends on my work load I would have at that time.

My car is a black 93 Dodge Stealth R/T TT. My older brother used to own the car (he got it back in 1993) and gave it to me when he purchased his Lexus. So all the mods on the car were done by him. I personally like it the way it is so I don't intend to do anything else to the car. I will show pics of it later if anyone is interested
This is a really cool site since I now have a source of info if I need it. I'm really impressed by what other members have done to their cars. They look great!

Are you asian??? I think i might have seen your car on Sumerset a few times, and the driver was asian. Modified exhaust and rims is all i noticed while i was driving.

Yes, I'm Chinese. That was probably me you saw since I'm in the Chinatown quite often. Unfortunatly for me, I never saw your car in Ottawa. It looks awsome so I'm sure if I would've seen it, I would remember.
Since I'm new on this board, may I ask which section on the forum people go for outside/appearance mods?

Hmm, good question about the mod thing, hehe. We don't have a mod forum yet, but, you could either post it in 3000GT/Stealth forum or the general forum.

fou - I drive my car all year long, good or bad weather. I just change my rims in winter. But my car is grey during that season due to salt hehehe.
I just saw a red 3000GT close to the University of Ottawa today. I wonder who's it was. I also remember seing a white one almost avery week around that area 2 years ago. I wonder if they are members here (I doubt it though).

FishV6, yes, I have seen a white ES before a couple of time, that was you? Cool, I never thought that you were a member of this board. Yea, I got a parking spot this year in parking M but since I didn't feel like paying for one that was so far from my classes, I decided to park in the street once in a while and take the bus the rest of the time.
What year are you in the University of Ottawa? I'm presently in my 5th year. I finished a biochemistry concentration and am presently doing a chemistry specialisation if all goes well.
Next time I see your car, I'll try to honk to say hi. BTW, good luck with your final exams.
I'm in my 3rd year and almost finished my concentration, only remaining one other semester. Can't wait to finish this crap lol. I don't take the car much to school, I take the bus all the time. Good luck to you too on those finals !
