Hey guys, so a couple of years ago I installed a set of cross drilled, slotted rotors and a set of performance pads on my 92 TT. This summer I noticed that I had the front rotors on backwards (L on the R and R on the L). I switched them and now my brake pedal has gone spungy on the first push.
If I don't use them for a few minutes, the first time I step on the brake it will go almost to the floor and the second pump is firm.
I have bled the brakes three times now and it still like this. Any thoughts or suggestions would be a great help, thanks!

i would buy new rotors and pads, change the brake fluid.

after bleeding the fluid three times, it's all brand new fluid now. And the pads and rotors are like new, hardly any wear at all.
Could one of the front calipers be bad?

Swapping things around shouldn't have any effect on the pedal feel, and if the calipers aren't leaking, I doubt the problem would be there. If your pedal isn't firm, and feels squishy, you either have air in your brake lines or your brake master cylinder is on it's way out. Since you've bled them several times, and I have to assume you didn't let any air back in, I'd look at the brake master cylinder.
Hope that helps, or leads you in the right direction.

It's squishy on the first hit, but if you double pump the brake, it's nice and solid. It's almost like I need to prime the breaks everytime!
It sounds like you still have air in the lines. Did you bleed the rear brakes also? How are you bleeding the brakes?

yep bled them all... did the whole sequence in order with the car running at the manual states to do! Yehah I swear there is air in the lines too but I've bled them twice now... maybe third times a charm, ah well I have all winter to figure it out!
