yeah I had an accident.........got estimation and its gonna cost me something like 8k at dodge for parts and labor......im not gonna elaborate on the story but lets say my front passenger wheel took all the side shock from 180kmh it could take.......so the wheel is in 3 piece....brake disc is broken and direction is fucked...........

the thing is I took that 90 degree corner at 150 b4.....im so fuckin pissed off....couldnt believe it was happening to me.....

just wanted to talk about it since crazy tought the board was dead......maybe itll make ppl talk, probably tell me im stupid like on 3si.org instead of actually understanding what happened!!!!!

How can we understand what happened? You didn't elaborate.

You took a turn before at 150Kph fine, so you tried it at 180Kph and you spilled..... Is that what happened?

A 90 degree corner @ 150Kph seems pretty dumb to me:confused:

well I was running 120 on the street then slammed 3rd and go to 180 and took the corner.......now u gotta know that my front tires are sticky michelin pilots and my rears pos daytona or something like that......so the rear starts to loosse grips and im heading toward the curb so I quickly turn the steering wheel to make it spin 180 so I dont smash into the curb wich had a huge sign.......the car spinned 90 degree and the front passenger wheel took all the shock of 180(probably 150 at the time it hitted)......so basically im ok.....dont even have a headache....but my car direction is fucked and I got estimated at 8k.......:(

At 180 you would be dead and the car would much more damaged than a litte 8k bill... IMO.

You certainly was not checking your speedo when you were losing control, did you? :)

I just jumped over a street separator or whatever you call that in english 2 months ago, had the 4 rims and tires destroyed and the cost to repair was 21442.06$ for a 12500$ AWD Twin Turbo. I though it would be 4-5k max since most of the parts are alright (motor, tranny, transfer case, etc..) The dealers are just freakin' crazy with their price down here.

I do professional karting and there are millions of factor you can enter a curve at a certain speed & time and not the other time. Especially on a public streets where your back end can slide on oil or whatever the other cars leak. Only 5 degrees celsius makes a difference on over/under steering and tires pressure.

That is why 180km/h in curves should be done at Tremblant only. :)
