After owning my 91 ES for at least 17yrs I have finally passed it down to my daughter. Aside from some clear coat peeling on the rear bumper and a worn bolster it looks pretty decent and runs incredible. My son will be taking my TT over in the spring of 2013 after putting in some road time for experience. They grew up with the cars and share the same respect for them that I have. For this winter I have bought a Juke SL AWD and hopefully it will return as many problem free miles the ES has provided me. I have one more season on my TT before I pass it along, and I can honestly say it is by far a better car now then it ever would have been when offered new. Im glad they are staying in the family and another generation can enjoy them.
thanks for reading

nice-hope the kids get the same enjoyment out of them that all of us do
(and show them the same care and respect;) )

I am positive the respect is high in both of them. When we replaced the interior in the TT the leather stretching had them holding their hands for days. lol. Ever since that they have always checked their pockets for anything sharp before getting in. Those seats get cleaned and conditioned once a month by them and the carpets look like the day we installed them.
Ill miss the cars and all of the interesting people that they have attracted. Many hours of chats have resulted in making many new friends. Im not sure if I will get another sports car or not at this point. I just couldnt handle my son sitting at a light in my old car and handing me my ass. lol. Maybe he shouldnt have been taught how to locate boost leaks and then I would have stood a chance if i tinkered abit. Either way they will both enjoy them because they still watch peoples reactions to seeing them. If they didnt care about that, then I would worry.
