Right now i'm in SC, i wish i was in ottawa. Right now, my quarter mile time is only 12.7@107, but i barely have any mods :D .

My main performance mods are boost controler, intake, and BOV, that's it. RPS II clutch and fidanza flywheel to help from take off.

Other mods: Bomex front lip, solid Y-pipe, stillen cross drilled rotors, intrax springs, blitz TT, and few other 3SX goodies.

That's too expensive. 34k american for a SL Spyder. You can pick up a VR-4 Spyder from here in the states for 30k, and pay like 3k import taxes, and you'll have a VR-4 spyder for the same price.

And besdies, don't even worry about importing it, it'll be NO PROBLEM, TRUST ME!!You can even go to your local mitsu dealer and have them import it for you.

PS. Eclipse Auto in Toronto are kind of shady. I don't trust them too much. I think they buy wrecked cars from the states, restore them, and once you change the car from american to canadian, all the papers are whiped clean, because it's a new registration, new everything. They had a 99 VR-4 and a few other VR-4's not too long ago.

I had no problem importing my 3000GT to canada, there was no import tax either, just 7% GST at the boarder then the rest of the provincial sales tax when I got plates for it. Which as far as taxes go it is no different than buying a used car locally. There was a RIV fee (http://www.riv.ca) charged but that was only like $225 or so and that was for importation paper work and A/C exise tax.

Ok, i'm curious how you're gona do that. 13G turbo's won't hit 600, 15G turbo's won't hit 600. You go bigger, you need custom IC pipeing, custom manifolds, custom downpipe, and with that much power, you're gona need internal work done to the engine, including fuel componenets. Let's not forget the intercooler and the electronics you'll need to control all that stuff like a VPC, ARC2, boost controler, a/f controler, guages (unless you wana run it blind). Electonics alone will cust you up to 4G's US.

So
electronics: 4G
piping(/w exhaust) :3G's

that leaves with you 3000 thousand for a set of TD05 or bigger turbo's, upgraded intercooler, fuel components, and any misc items you might need.

I don't see how you can do it with only 10G's..

P.S. THe highest HP we'fve seen out of 15G's so far is 450 or something like that.

You're joking right?? That's an estimate of what the kit will give you TO THE CRANK!!

Oh, and here, a quote from dynamic themselves:

"This Kit will produce 600+ HP @ 25psi, assuming you have performed the previous Staged Upgrades. (Stage 1 through Stage 3)"

So here you have it, close to 10k to have the 600hp to the crank. If you wana go full blown race car, side mounts won't do you any good unless you're just daily driving it and not racing it alot. If you are racing it alot, you'll need something quite a bit bigger than the 5" side mounts. And none of those stages include little shit like y-pipe, blow off valve, guages, and stuff you'll need to run properly.

Also, don't forget that your stock clutch wont' hold that power. Include another 1-2k for a good clutch that will hold.

So now we're at over 10k IN PARTS ALONE!! Labour is another arm and a leg, unless you do it yourself, in which case, DD didn't do it himself.

So, How about that 10K car???? LOL

600awhp for $10k is rediculous.

600hp at the crank for $10 is attainable, but would still be a little tight.

Once you start getting up that high you are looking at replacing nearly everything. And if you don't your car will:

a. run like crap;
b. be unable to get the power to the ground; and
c. break a lot.

or any combo of the above.

Even at 600 crank HP there are many things to be considered. Internals, tuning, suspension, brakes, motor mounts, tranny, and so on.

Anyway, I give the guy credit for having an amazing car. He did everything to it possible, and that is rare.
