Well, not really.....;)
Actually I was down in the US last week on a disastrous vacation, but there was an upside. I managed to score a case of Sea Foam tune-up product. Having heard everyone's overwhelming success using this product, I figured that I had to buy a bottle or two to try it out myself.
If anyone is interested in acquiring some, I'll bring it to the Western Canada Gathering this weekend. I've got to charge $10 CDN for a can of this stuff to break even. Since so many 3S people swear by this stuff, I figured I'd pick up some extra and make it available to anyone in the group that is interested. I've yet to use it, so I can't comment on it's effectiveness, but I know ShdwMastr has tried it and now swears by it.
See you all Friday/Saturday/Sunday!!!!

SeaForm works great! I haven't heard lifter tick for weeks :p
Definately worth the 10.00 from Snortin93!
Where did ya pick up the case Snortin93? Did they nail you for duty/taxes at the border or something? Got my can for 4.50US.. ended up being 5.34CDN on cc when i got home..
This weekend is changing around a bit for me... I'll probably only make Sunday this weekend, anyone got a cell number i can reach if/when I get down to Calgary so I can meet up with you guys...

Identify yourself as "the internet stealth guy"...lol. Ask w3apon about that on.
lol, you can hook this Internet Stealth guy up with a can of Seafoam too :)

Sounds like I'll be peddling stuff from my trunk this weekend then. Better get out my spandex jump suit...lol!!!!
Rob, what kind of other stuff were you expecting?????????? Oh, ya the strut brace! You bet! I also picked up a can of PB Blaster for both you and Tom, as requested.
ShdwMastr, Becuz I bought a case of Sea Foam, they gave it to me for $5.00 USD per can plus state tax, instead of their posted $5.95 USD. Since I was in the middle of nowhere Utah, I didn't have any chance to check for cheaper options. I was just happy and somewhat surprized to find the stuff in the first place. Becuz of the additional Stealth parts that I bought, and letting my wife go nuts shopping for clothes, we had to pay additional duty/GST at the border. Having had my car thoroughly inspected a couple of times now, I tend to play it safe and declare everything to avoid an even lengthier stay at the border. :o $5.34 CDN for the stuff is a fantastic deal. How'd you manage that one?
Mike, I'll check into the possibility of shipping some to you, since I know you guy's on the island don't get too many presents...j/k
Hey I'd like a can of that stuff too please!!

Ya w3apon, I've got a few cans still, that I can sell you.
Mike, I still haven't gotten to the post office to find out how much shipping will cost. Hopefully tomorrow.

cool, anyone use it yet? if so did you change your sparkplugs afterwards? Do You have to do that I wonder?
I'm thinking it would be good to change the plugs the fuel filter and the oil afterwards:confused:

My wife's Jeep will be the first vehicle that I do, most likely this weekend. From everything that I've read, you don't have to replace the sparkplugs. Mine have less than 3K kms on them, so I'm not going to bother. However, I know that using Automatic Transmission Fluid in my Rx-7 to remove the carbon from the apex seals, coated the plugs and they had to be replaced.
I'd guess that it would be best to use the stuff in the oil and then do a change after 500 miles. That should give it enough time to clean stuff out, but not be detrimental. Fuel filter makes sense if it hasn't been changed in awhile. Basically that is my approach that I'll be taking.
ShdwMastr, you still following this? Any comments on these thoughts and your experience?

I'm following!
All the howto's on 3si don't mention changing plugs afterwards.. so I didn't.. mind you I haven't taken one out too look at their condition yet.. was going to do that last night but the incoming bad weather convinced me not to..
I changed my Oil + filter after a week of driving.. I drive to and from work everyday.. and usually cruzin around on the weekends so the seafoam got a good chance to work itself around. Some people say to change after a few hundred miles.. some after a week of driving. I needed to change my oil
I noticed a great improvement in lifter tick.. it's 100% gone for me now..
PS. Snortin, grew wanted a can of seaform... can ya set one aside for him, and post the price to ship one up to edm? I might take a second can to..

Sure thing. Now if the rain and hail will just stop, I can get to the post office.......

Well, I went to the post office to see if they would ship a can of Sea Foam. They looked at it, read it, consulted their manuals, and said "since it's flammable, they cannot ship it." I then phoned Canada Post customer service, and asked how I could get it delivered, and their response was the same; No can do! $50,000 first offense for shipping flammable or toxic items in the mail.
I haven't checked with any of the courier companies, cuz I think that will be cost-prohibitive if they will deliver it at all. So I think shipping is going to be out of the question.
ShdwMastr and Grew, next time we have an Alberta get-together, or I'm up there, or you're down here, I can try to get a bottle or two to you.
Sorry guys!
