Sunday there was a record set for snowfall on that date, 9.XXcm of now fell. That was quite a bit for this time of year. there were lots of accidents here on Monday, and Black Ice is around usually every evening now since the temp started dropping.

I know that the snow won’t last and that it’s still not that cold out side.
If I get the blizzak installed right away, they’ll melt by the time Christmas come around!

fou , do you drive the TT all year round? what is it like in the snow? Does it get rusty?

I'd like to know what it is like but because of the amount of road salt put down here I put the VR-4 away for da winter, 3000GT 4X4 system ain't too good for Nfld winters I assume,:D :D

two winters ago we has a record snowfall year for tle past like 100 years or so, it was crazy, this is a pic of a roat that was affected by all the snow!!!

I drive the TT all year, it’s my daily driver! When I got it, it hade 205000km and now it up to 247000km.
So I won’t try to save this one for a collector, I’ll drive it until it fall apart or until I can afford a VR4 SPYDER.
No rust yet.
I the snow the car is very good, it’s just like driving a 4x4 truck with wide tires. We split the HP 50/50 between the front/back and we have a posy rear end. So it’s pretty much like a truck.
The only thing is the slush, with 245/45 the tire is pretty wide and the car like to glide in thick slush. But snow and ice no problem.

Hey if your car as low km, try to save it as a collector.

Yeah right and I'm $rich$ like that, lol, naah I have a little more than half the amount of the KM as yours does but it will, juss gimme time, well how much time that is at 5 to 7 K Km p/year, lol who knows:D But I would like to get a 98VR-4, a Pyellow95 VR-4, or any spider as a collector car though, I even got a pic of a Pearl yellow Spyder, if it was a VR-4 that would be #1 for me, (hooked on yellow:D)

250K wow that is awesome, gotta be close to a record for a TT?? what's your secret, any major jobs done to your car other than the tranny change? Do you service yours yourself?

Well yesterday was nice and we got 2” over night. But it’s supposed to be 14degree to day and I still didn’t get the winter tires on.

BigBoi – so far the work I did on my TT is:
new clutch, 5 to 6 speeds tranny, transfer case, drive shaft, rear differential, shifter cables, new brake, supra fuel pump with direct feed, 60k miles tune up, a couple of studs on the front wheel, the 2 front half shaft, drop the oil pan to change the rod bearing on cylinder 1, Autometer boost gauge, AVC-R, K&N air charger, gutted the 2 precats, welded a new flex on the down-pipe and fixed the leaking oil cooler.

The work I did on Leo TT was replace a 4 bolts main and tranny by a Jspec 2 bolts main and tranny.

And now I can’t wait to start installing toys on the TT’s.
Darkdevil – contacted me and I might start doing some work on is TT’s and this will also help me fund my modifications.
