I'm kinda getting obsessed with making my 3000gt faster lately and have a couple questions. Keep in mind that I live in Toronto so try to suggest somewhere close:

Where can I get my car weighed without paying much or anything? I'm trying to decrease the weight of my car and would like to check my results when I'm done.

Do any of you guys ever take your cars to a drag strip and get official 1/4 mile times taken on your car and stuff? If so, where.. and how much does it cost?

Where's the best/cheapest place in the area to get my car dyno'd? I have a 3000GT SL, so I don't need an AWD dyno like some of you guys.

I am in St. John's Newfoundland so I can't give you any particular direct help:D But I can tell ya what I did....

There is a recyclinf facility not too far from my house that has a set of scales out behind the building that is used for weighing their trucks. The scale that is there is on 24/7 and the place closes at 5 pm and is closed on weekends so anyone can go there when they want during those times the place is closed.

You can probably try taking a drive around an industrial area to see if there are any open scales around. Try DSCR.net (http://www.dscr.net/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi) to see if anyone on that site knows of some "free" scales in tha "t"dot:D

Also some ppl around here go to the weigh scales that are on the highway and are used for heavy trucks and ask the operator of the scales if they can use the scales.

Good Luck!!

My car with no interior!!! last time I was on the scales it was 3820lbs. full interior and subs!!
