Anyone interested in a cruise to Sylvan Lake???

I was just curious if we could get enough interest in a cruise to Sylvan Lake. We don't have too many weekends left until the snow falls..... Maybe have the Edmonton and Calgary groups meet the Red Deer boys somewhere in town, and then cruise to the lake to check out the bikinis. :bigup:

I wasn't planning on driving the stealth down.. but I will if we have a mini meet there, I'd be more than willing too :)

Oh man, that brings back some memories... I didnt know Sylvan was such a popular place. i was up there a few times a week when i was staying in Dead Rear during my Summer-Off Wandering Across Canada adventure. :) Next to Okanagen and Drumheller, that was one of the hottest places i had been in all of Canada!... (with some of the hottest fillies to go with it ;) ).... Enjoy it while you can cause the way things are going now, it wont be long before they erect a derrick right on the beach and start slurping oil right out of the sand :rolleyes:

I talked with DSM Power, and he's working till noon at least, but I know how he drives, so he could easily make it up there as soon as he gets off.
W3apon, unfortunately has left the pack. Sold his ride for big bucks, and has disappeared from sight.
I've got Davin's cell phone number, so I'll call him and see if he's up for it.

I'd suggest meeting in Red Deer at the Tim Horton's on 67th. It's just east of Hwy 2, and has a large parking lot where we could display our wheels. Then we could blast west to Sylvan. The next question is: what time do we want meet? 10:00, 11:00???

I just want an ice cream cone for lunch!:D

Actually on a more serious note, i was pretty impressed with the datalogger software esp...... Its cool to be able to shut down an injector while the engine is running and feel it run on only 5, cool to see the graphs of each run etc..... the ONLY problem is with my laptop, i would say bring a floppy disk so you can save your data, but I ve lost the floppy DRIVE for the laptop.:angry: Oh well, it ll be interesting anyway
