Need Help

I just found out today that my 3rd gear syncro is almost worn out. dodge wants 8000$ to replace my transmission with a new one. They told me that they can't fix parts on this car. Anyone know any other routes i could take to fix this?

If you were in Ottawa I could do it for ½ that price with a rebuild tranny.

Go to an independent tranny shop, they’ll replace the part or change the tranny for les than $8000.

DON’T GO TO DODGE FOR TRANNY PROBLEM, THEY PROBEBLY NEVER OPEN ONE BEFORE!

I have almost the same problem...DON"T GO TO DODGE!!! stupid mechanics say the tranny is not servicable....

Fou you wanna come down to alberta...I would gladly give you my tranny to work on...
