Anyone know of any products out there to make scratches in glass not so apparent?

My drivers and passenger side windows have the usual wear marks from being put up and down… very fine scratches..

any miracle products out there to “buff” this out?

Same here. Vertical scratches on the outside of the windows, probably caused by some internal stabilizer.
I was planning on taking to a auto glass place someday to see if they could buff it out and replace the felt? on the stabilizer.

Me 3 it's seems that it's a sickness My front windshield will need to be replace it's like it's been sand blasted.
It would be nice if there was a product out there that could resolve this problem.

As a teenager I drove a truck for a windshield company...they had some thing called jewellers rosin for buffing out scrathces in glass.

Let us know if you find any. My car has the same disease! I think the only product that will remove my scratches properly is a new windshield, but I don't even want to know how much that will cost.

I delivered it to Standard Aut oGlas....whether otr not they'd sell it or give you some, Idont know.
Try that auto restoration supplies company...I think its called Eastman or some Eastwood or something...they deal in a lot of specialty polishes

Oh, I had the part numbers and costs for replacing the felt, trim and weather stripping. It wasn't pretty so I lost it.

By the way, I have the scratches too. [enhanced by window tint]

Well a mix of Jewlers Rouge and 2 other components are supposed to do a wonderfull job.. however... try and find Jewlers Rouge! I've called around to a few places and no luck...

Here is the window scratch recpiee...

GLASS SCRATCH REMOVER PASTE

2 tablespoons glycerin
2 tablespoons jeweler's rouge
2 tablespoons water

Mix into a paste in a glass or plastic jar. Dab some paste on a clean cloth and rub scratched area. Wash off with clear water. If scratch is deep, repeat application as needed.

Exactly what I said!

I can't even find a source for it online.. only a few instances where it's on polishing wheels..

yah you might have a problem. im a bodyman and i see this all the time. replace , windshields are pretty cheap i got mine for $205 cnd wholesale. door glass scratches are caused by mis adjustments within your door. you know the ones that are vertical. on my 93 stealth the pass side had them som i wet sandedthem and put a light coat of clear , polished it , this was just an expirement and it worked , it somewhat noticeable to me bot not to anyone else. good luck
