TC recall

I heard that there is a recall in US for 3000GT's poor design Transfer Case of the Transmission. Does it apply to Canada's too?
My fucking damn transmission is just getting fixed because of the oil leaking which burnt my whole unit. I bought another transmission too , can i complain about it to Mitsubishi and get my money back?

The recall # in Canada is B17, you need to contact your Dodge dealer and they will call you back once they have all of the information from Chrysler Canada!

Make sure you inform you Dodge dealer that you intend on doing this recall, as they don’t know how many Stealth they have in their area, they might not get ready for this recall!!!

but mine is 3000GT not stealth. I don't know what i can do now because i don't think the Mitsubishi dealer will take care of it.

i'd like to know that too, I know I couldn't import my 3000 to canada with out any outstanding recalls not done(which there were none) but where the recall has been issued after I imported it I wonder If I will be eligable for the recall?

on another note a bud of mine has a new transfer case put in his car yesterday by recall, and he said it made the car a lot better!!! I want a new one too, lol

My dealer told me that they will look for a leak. If there is none, they do nothing. if there is one, the replace the seals.

How did your friend get a whole new unit? What do i have to do? wonder if i drain most of the fluid before i drive the 2 KM to the dealer, they would think it leaked out>? Would that lock the unit before i got there?

I wish i can get a new transfer case too... i just bought an old one and put it on my car. Damn the old one was burnt to hell....
cost me freaking 5 grand to replace that....

Exactly:D A recall Is a recall, when he took his talon to the dodge dealer they asked him how long he was driving around without fluid, and he said that he just bought the car and heard about this recall thing on the internet somewhere and decided to get it checked out:D

I'm sure if you drained it all out you will start to hear humming noises(that's what dan heard in his talon) drive carefully like that for a while to see if ya can fuk it up:D , What's wrong with this world..... fukking up your car intentionally, wait a sec you get free new parts.... hell ya I'm in:D :D

They found me! My Dad just called me to say that I got the recall notice as well. Anyone have more information on this? I have a 91TT and I thought that this was taken care of a few years ago.
