troubleshooting

hey, i just got my car back, and there was a couple things i noticed from the get go that werent right
when shifting, it was a bitch to get it from gear to gear, mostly 2-3 and back.
wondering what could be the problem. linkage?
and at about 120km/h, the wheel started shaking, i think it might just need a balance, but never know.
any tips or helpful info is appreciated.

just got your car back from what?

shaking is probably just balance but could be a few things.

as for shifting, it could be that the clutch isnt fully disengaged?
find somewhere nice and flat and stop the car. take off the ebrake, push down the clutch and put the car into first gear. now while holding your clutch down, rev the engine up ... does the car move at all?

If it's grinding with the clutch in on the downshift it might be the syncros! That's what is wrong with my 92 VR4.
