91 Rt Owner from NB

I'm in NB and have 2 91 RTs (1 for parts).

I have also seen 2 vr4s and a 92 Rt TT in Saint John.

There is also a green 93 RT TT for sale in Bathurst I think. Was there a few months back.

These forums are great for info on how to mod our cars. Alot of very helpful people.

I'm just getting started with mind. tune-up first then maybe the TT conversion. Fun Fun!

My brother just bought a 92 stealth rt tt, and he is living in saintjohn. Its red though, fully loaded, and now has a broken crankshaft. A few days after buying the car he noticed the engine starting to tick, and could feel it in the clutch pedal. It got worse and a few days later the engine seized while driving home. He was hoping it was clutch/flywheel related, but after pulling the tranny and oil pan, it was definitely the crankshaft. It broke just before the last connecting rod, on the flywheel side of the engine. I figure it spun a bearing, and when the bearing finally did seize, the momentum of driving the car broke the crank.

Whats your thoughts on this? I see pmp motorsports have rebuilt crankshafts and bearings on sale for 400$, the question is what else was damaged as well...
